Description

The Emergency Department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Clinical Fellow within the Emergency Department.

The term is initially for a 12-month period but can be extended if mutually agreed and the position involves working a shift pattern.

Applicants must have full GMC registration with a license to practice and shall have completed a two-year foundation program or equivalent.

These appointments are to the Trust, not to specific hospitals. Our Trust footprint currently includes Cromer Hospital (25 miles from NNUH).

Maintain professional responsibility for patients coming to the ED by provision of safe, timely, high quality care to patients

Keep patients (and/or their carers if appropriate) informed about their condition and involve them in any decision-making about their treatment

Undertake different roles within the department as required

Be responsible for the keeping of records and the provision of reports, the proper delegation of tasks and maintaining skills and knowledge

Participate in teaching programs within the department

Maintain professional standards and comply in particular with the GMC's guidance on
'Good Medical Practice' as amended or substituted from time to time
