Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Social Media Assistant to join our team.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase awareness, engage our audience, and drive meaningful actions in support of our mission.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by utilising your expertise in social media.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to support our goals and objectives
  • Oversee all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram
  • Create and curate engaging content, including text, image, and video posts, that aligns with our brand and resonates with our target audience
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to build a strong and loyal community
  • Implement social media advertising campaigns to promote our organisation, campaigns, events, and fundraising initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience in Social Media or similar role, preferably in the nonprofit sector
  • Demonstrable knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and trends, as well as experience with social media management and scheduling tools
  • Strong understanding of social media advertising and analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to craft engaging content
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas to engage our target audience
  • Solid organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience with graphic design and video editing tools is a plus
  • Passion for our mission and commitment to making a positive impact in the community
