Severe Mental Health Problems - CBT for Psychosis and Bipolar Disorder or Personality Disorder PGDip | Postgraduate Taught | University of Exeter

Successful completion of the 2 year post graduate training will automatically lead to employment at band 7 within BCHFT as a CBT (psychosis and bipolar disorder) practitioner within the Complex rehabilitation pathway.

Main duties of the job
Working in the complex rehabilitation team you will join a service that is undergoing new development and service modelling.

The team will work closely with our developing CEN (Complex Emotional Needs) pathway to ensure that the rehabilitation requirements of clients are met in a needs based way (as opposed to within a purely diagnostic framework).

The complex Rehab team is multidisciplinary, comprised of nursing, AHP, medical and psychology staff.

As well as supporting clients in the community with rehabilitation needs, the team also supports the repatriation of complex clients from out of area and specialist rehabilitation placements, back into locality support.

Psychological assessment, formulation and evidence based therapies in this team will be increasingly key as it develops and expands. The addition of CBT roles into this service area represent an exciting development in broadening the psychological skill set of the team
