What does the role involve?
As a member of the Credit Control team, you will consult with and gain the support of the key stakeholders, in particular customers, clients and our internal team.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Delivering a high quality customer service, ensuring all dealings with client accounts are based on 'Treating Customer Fairly' (TCF)
- Proactively managing clients and supporting your manager to identify and deliver improvements which will enhance the customer experience
- Credit control, chasing debt, supporting clients and internal stakeholders
- Strong people skills with the ability to take initiative whilst relationship building.
- Ensuring departmental procedures are followed within the agreed timescales with the ability to manage varying workloads.
You may have worked in credit control for just a short period of time and that's fine We encourage ideas, so you will enjoy speaking up and sharing your suggestions.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Superb communication skills both on the telephone and written
- Able to work under pressure and manage own workload
- Ability to speak up and ask for help
- IT literate and confident with learning new and multiple systems
