Description
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Facilities to join our team at Homerton Healthcare.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day to day operational and strategic delivery of the Facilities Department of the Trust ensuring that these functions are carried out safely, efficiently and cost effectively to provide a high-quality service for patients and staff.

The postholder will be tasked with managing all of our outsourced contracts, ensuring that they are performing to set KPIs and that the services they provide provide value for money.


  • The post holder is responsible for managing the day to day operational and strategic delivery of the Facilities Department of the Trust ensuring that these functions are carried out safely, efficiently and cost effectively to provide a highquality service for patients and staff
  • Ensure, through sound fiscal management, that services are delivered within tight budgetary control for both internal services and external contracts, represent value for money and achieve the requirements of the Trust in line with government initiatives, Trust strategy and objectives and financial efficiency targets.
  • To be responsible for ensuring that the Trusts environment is safe and compliant according to all relevant national bodies to ensure a quality environment for all patients, staff, and visitors
  • To proactively develop all services under your remit, developing close working relationships with operational clinical teams and patient experience groups, horizon scanning and workforce planning to lead an effective operational delivery, contract management and monitoring service
