The Role
- Working within the Natural Resources Claims Advocacy team as part of the global offering to our clients
- WTW have an extremely broad client base across all the major lines of Natural Resources business both on a Wholesale and Retail
- Working with our Global Network as well as directly with Clients and Prospects
- Provide strong claims advocacy advice to clients.
- Strong focus on clients and providing valueadd services
- The role may require a willingness to travel to Clients both in the UK and internationally
Responsibilities
- Communication with Client on claims, technical advice and query management and service delivery
- Present claims to underwriters, dealing with queries, providing feedback and responding appropriately to clients, insurers and relevant internal departments.
- Liaise with experts appointed by clients and insurers and negotiate with all Stakeholders to obtain the best possible settlement outcomes for clients
- Assessing technical claims information in conjunction with policy wordings and developing strategies for successful handling and resolution of claims
- Build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
- Experience in the management of complex and large value claims
- Be able to understand and articulate coverage concepts within complex policy wordings
- Experienced negotiation and influencing skills
- You may be required to assist and support the placing teams in the retention and acquisition of new clients by participating in client pitches and request for claims information
- Assist in monitoring market claims performance with our Key insurer partners and development of our trading relationships
- Ensure prompt payment of claims within compliance requirements.
- Maintain awareness of accounts, market developments, claims specific changes together with an understanding of the Key Client Outcomes and Service Delivery Targets within the BU
- Contribution to a continual improvement culture
- Provide input to and reference the Willis Quality Index, as appropriate and required
- Ensure records are maintained on the Group systems
- Interprets instructions and issues arising, and then implement actions according to policies and procedures
- Keep informed of all legal and regulatory developments relevant to the division/department
