OUTDOOR AFTER SCHOOL CLUB ASSISTANT


The Outdoors Project run Birthday Parties, After School and Holiday Clubs in Bristol for children age 5-11, 100% outdoors all year around.

Our mission is to encourage kids to spend quality time outdoors and gain all the benefits from doing so Fresh air, nature, exercise, developing friendships, engaging in "wild time", exploring creativity & imagination, learning new skills and above all having lots of FUN


We are looking for people who are either experienced with or who are looking to gain experience within the Childcare/Outdoor Activity sector.

We are looking for fun and engaging people to help run our After School Clubs that run Monday - Friday at various locations around Bristol.

The Assistant role is to help the leader with the smooth running of the activities and help with group control.

We are also looking for Holiday Clubs Leaders and Assistants.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Child protection training desirable.
  • The ability to work well within a team, communicate, be on time and reliability is essential.

ASSISTANT:
Experience working with large groups of children is desirable but we will happily train inexperienced staff


Hours for After Schools:3:00pm-5:00pm


Hours for Holiday Clubs: 9:30am

  • 3:30pm

School Holidays:
Feb Half Term, Easter, Whitsun half term, Summer, October half term, Christmas


Start date:
Immediate


Recruitment process:
Telephone interview and if successful we will invite you to attend training


Pay:
£11 per hour. Your pay rates will depend on your experience, age and qualifications. Uniform will be provided
