MISSION STATEMENT

Purpose


To ensure the safe sleep provision remains a safe environment, mediating any disputes and ensuring the facility remains a calm and welcoming environment at all times.


Key Tasks

  • To ensure safe environment is provided and maintained.
  • To provide a safe and secure environment for all service users, colleagues and buildings.
  • To assist in the provision of high quality housing management functions.

Responsibilities:


1. To ensure a safe environment is provided and maintained
1.1 To be responsible for ensuring a calm and harmonious atmosphere prevails in the emergency sleeping provision. Resolving all disputes as they occur following procedures.

1.2 To assist with the cleanliness of all communal areas, ensuring high levels of cleanliness are maintained.


1.3 To assist with preparing empty units of accommodation for new service users including undertaking repairs; cleaning; painting; preparing flats / rooms for occupation and undertaking flat inspections.


2. To provide a safe and secure environment for all service users, colleagues and buildings.


2.1 To ensure the project is safe and secure at all times, carrying out inspections and routine checks and tasks as appropriate to the project.

2.2 To identify and report any housing management issue or safeguarding risks using the appropriate systems.


2.3 To ensure the Association's policies and procedures are adhered to when recording information relating to property or service users.

2.4 To monitor building security and safety by utilising CCTV and undertaking patrols and through discussions with service users.


2.5 To ensure that all service users are aware of policies relating to security, visitors, noise, ASB and general behaviour and to enforce these policies.


3. To assist in the provision of high quality housing management functions


3.1 To be involved in the welcoming of service users and make them fully aware of the provisions available to them.


3.2 To provide a warm and welcoming approach to service users at all times, assisting the Case Co-ordinator with any incidents as they arise.


3.3 To ensure service users live safely in the project, and understand and comply with rules relating to the project.

To offer advice and assistance to enable them to do so in a friendly, supportive manner.

3.4 To ensure the Association's Complaints Policy and Procedure is adhered to when taking complaints from Service Users.


4. General
4.1 To participate in any training that may be considered necessary in developing the work.

4.2 To move around Association sites if and when required to support the business need.

4.3 Strict adherence to confidentiality, particularly in the details of Service Users and staff is required at all times.

4.4 To work in accordance with the Association's Safeguarding Accountability Framework at all times.

4.5 To treat everybody with respect and demonstrate commitment to Equality and Diversity.

4.6 To promote good practice through adhering to the Association's Policy and Procedures and demonstrating the Association's Behavioural Competencies.


4.7 To undertake any other responsibilities and duties appropriate to the level of the post, that may be required from time to time.

Salary:
£21,634.00-£24,585.00 per year
