Job title:
Test Analyst (Mainframe)

Reporting To:
Testing Assurance Manager

Location:
Remote

Contract:4-5 months

£500 per day - Outside IR35

Job Purpose:

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all migrated code is version controlled
Reviewing AFP / PDF documents before releasing the print jobs to the Operational site

Skills and Experience:

5+ years of experience in mainframe technologies to include: IBM Workload Scheduler, Job Control Language, FILEAID, VSAM, EJES, TSO Commands, and mainframe utilities
Strong TWS and JCL skills
Version control knowledge and awareness
File editing skills (on a range of mainframe file types)
Good working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and defect management practices
Understands test best practice (ISTQB Certified Tester desirable)
Experience of using JIRA, TFS or other relevant tool for defect management
Must be able to agree and deliver to agreed schedule
Ability to work with geographically distributed team
