Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and develop the team.
- Recruit and retain the best talent in the industry.
- Run existing client relationships at a broad level as a strong partner to the strategic lead, making sure the team are meeting objectives to inspire, innovate and challenge clients.
- Ensure all aspects of the account our managed when it comes to inbound project trafficking, aligning briefs, owning and delivering a smooth creative development process, managing client expectations and creative team's vision on all briefs, real time feedback loops and escalations.
- Overall ensuring that an exceptional level of client servicing is being constantly delivered.
- Propose expansion to bring in new capabilities and to cover new brands and success is proven.
- Manage peer relationships and ensure a positive working relationship with brand teams, marketing communications, insights, customer marketing and production.
- Financial management of production budgets, team costs and internal management reporting.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 10+ years previous experience at creative agency or inhouse creative agency with successful experience operating as Business Director
- Prior experience working on FMCG business preferred
- Strong leadership skills. Ability to manage senior stakeholders, a team of creatives and a team of client services. Experience in leading cross functional teams.
- Strong influencing skills. Ability to articulate a strategy and idea well and sell in to client teams. Ability to galvanize teams to want to work more with the Design Centre team
- Ability to manage/ drive agenda and thinking in a matrixed and virtual environment.
- Have an innovative and imaginative approach to everything you to do; to inspire others in the team with your enthusiasm and passion.
- Mindset and approach to always find solutions.
- Ability to hit the ground running and take the lead in running businesses with high levels of organisation with a good eye for creativity and attention to detail.
- Have a desire to add value to client business and bottom line
- Be able to hold your own, be confident to express your opinion with clarity of thinking.
- Be able to effectively simplify and communicate complex messages in a format that is easily understood by key decision makers
