Job Description:


  • You'll be responsible for aggregating data from multiple sources.
  • You'll be responsible for the design of a multidimensional database using the SQL Server BI stack.
  • You'll be involved in designing and planning BI solutions.
  • You'll be responsible for debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting BI solutions
  • You'll write relational and multidimensional database queries.
  • You'll support the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of the database server.
  • You'll formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data.
  • Recognise the business requirements in the context of BI and create data models to transform raw data into relevant insights
  • Build and maintain a positive relationship between IT and business areas and ensure timely support of daytoday business processing needs.
  • Develop strong relationships with third party support partners, including regular reviews of performance to ensure a positive and productive service is provided.

Qualifications:


  • Background in Microsoft SQL Database administration
  • Experience administering cloudbased database solutions (Azure/AWS)
  • Experience with Databricks, Data factory, Data warehouse and similar data analysis and integration tools
  • Experience with BI tools and systems such as Power BI or SAP Analytics
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access etc)
  • An analytical mindset with problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience of managing 3rd party software or support organisations
  • Ability to present complex problems in a simple manner and to a nontechnical audience.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with global colleagues at all levels including directors.
