KS2 Class Teacher

Maternity cover from 13th March end of academic year

East Finchley

Yr 5 x 2 days, Yr 6 x 1 day, Yr 4 x 1 day and PPA x 1 day

LT Support arelooking for a full time experienced KS2 teacher for a maternity cover role starting from Monday 13th March 2023 until at least the end of the school year in July and possibly into the Autumn Term. They are a very friendly,happy and successful school and put high priority on teamwork and professional development for all staff.

The most important part of this role is teaching a year 5 class Thursday and Friday as a job share for the class. The class includes 2 children with an EHCP as well as new to English pupils. We need a calm, positive, confident and well organisedteacher, ideally with experience in supporting pupils with autism. There is excellent TA support, the class have a great attitude to learning and are kind to each other. As the school is 3 form entry, you would be working in a year group team of teachers,planning and organising events together.

This role would also include teaching a Y6 class one day a week, a Y4 class one day a week to give non-contact time for our two Assistant Heads. The final day will be regular PPA cover, likely to be in year 6, and time to meet and plan with the restof the year 5 year group team
