    Our client is looking for a Building Surveyor with a solid background in asset condition surveying and rail-related safety competencies to support a growing team in delivering a high-volume surveying programme.

    Essential Requirements

    HND/HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject.
    Previous proven experience in building condition surveys across diverse property portfolios.

    Understanding of:
    Building Regulations, CDM Regulations, and planning processes.
    Statutory/rail industry construction and maintenance requirements.
    Railway safety and possession regimes.
    Strong communication skills.
    Full UK driving licence.
    Valid Safety critical competencies (PTS )
    Responsibilities Include

    Delivering a defined work bank of building asset condition surveys in line with statutory compliance.
    Developing survey strategies and delivery plans for annual condition surveys.
    Reporting on asset conditions using asset management systems.
    Supporting the creation of maintenance plans and technical scopes.
    Monitoring progress and quality of maintenance schemes.
    Representing at hand-back meetings for completed works.
    Maintaining all relevant rail-specific competencies and training.
    Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
