My client is a market leader in the design and manufacturer of safety systems, they are looking for a Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Developing new ideas from scratch
  • Creating proofs of concept
  • Creating 3D CAD models and building prototypes
  • Managing product testing
  • Producing product specifications including drawings and other documentation
  • Experience in similar role
  • Extensive experience working with SolidWorks or other CAD programs
  • Hands on experience with metal or woodwork
  • Experience with mechanical linkages
  • Able to work in a highpressure environment
  • Willingness to learn
  • Experience collaborating on activities
