Pertemps Crawley are working in partnership with an established Manufacturer based in Crawley, looking for a
Materials Controllerto join their personable and fun team.


The Role:

  • Understanding production schedules and ordering materials in line with demands
  • Build relationships with new and existing Suppliers to ensure best prices & lead times are kept
  • Raising orders with Suppliers
  • Liaising with between Production, Customers and Suppliers to ensure lead times are met
  • Quality checking of good ins including matching invoices/ paperwork
  • Booking goods in
  • Completing despatch paperwork and liaising with external Couriers for delivery

The Person:

  • Previous experience ordering & managing stock levels in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills when liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads
  • Proficient user of MS Packages and inhouse CRMs
  • Good attention to detail

The Package:

  • Monday to Thursday 7am 4pm & lunchtime finish every Friday
  • Up to £27,000pa DOE
  • Free parking & great transport links
