Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer
Locum Contract - Full time 6 months +
Rate - £24.76 PAYE - £33.50 Umbrella per hour
Annual equivalent of £47.5k - 52k
FULLY REMOTE WORKING/ HOME BASED ROLE.
A Commercial Public Contracts and Procurement Lawyer is required to join the Central Government team to provide high quality and cost effective Public Procurement services.
My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced PublicContracts & Procurement Lawyer to join their Government team on an initial 6 months basis which is likely to be extended.
As a Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer, you will draft and advise on every part of the commercial process, from the commercial law implications of a policy, through to designing the appropriate commercial contract, ensuring that projects appropriatelymanage legal risk, that contracts are managed effectively, and that any disputes are resolved as effectively as possible.
Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer
- Advising on contractual agreements
- Dealing with Commercial contracts, procurement, Production and distribution, data and information management, IT, Technology, Construction, Intellectual Property, Public Law, Grants
- Dealing with public procurement matters and frameworks.
Required Skills and experience of the Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer
- 2 years PQE + ideally
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (or equivalent)
- Commercial Contracts and Procurement experience preferably in one of the areas outlined above
- Ideally public sector experience but would consider private
- Would need to be operating within IR35
