The Purpose:

To ensure the efficient and effective management of the Venue Back of House Operational Procedure delivering exceptional service and ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes, to enabling us to give outstanding service and experiences to our valued customers and fans


The Role:


  • Step up in the absence of the BOH Manager, ensuring seamless continuity in operations.
  • Keep all kitchens, storerooms, and designated areas squeaky clean, meeting our high cleanliness standards.
  • Take charge of the cleanliness and proper storage of crockery, cutlery, and equipment to guarantee topnotch service.
  • Assist in implementing controls and procedures to uphold quality and efficiency standards.
  • Ensure our catering services go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations every time.
  • Effectively supervise the cleaning and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare weekly BOH booking sheets, maintain accurate timesheets, and monitor staffing levels to stay within budget.
  • Ensure all paperwork, including Match Day and Non-Match Day records, is accurate and properly logged.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes, enforce stock rotation policies, and oversee deliveries to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Lead by example in adhering to recycling and sustainability policies such as "Reds Go Green."
  • Enforce proper uniform and PPE usage among BOH staff to maintain safety standards.
  • Foster a cooperative work environment to boost productivity and morale.
  • Build strong relationships with other departments to gather customer feedback and ensure satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including including the management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992, Health, and Safety at Work Act 1974 (this also includes Manual Handling) and COSHH 1994.

The Person:


  • Demonstrate your expertise with a proven track record in back of house management, particularly in highvolume venues.
  • Understand the nuances of the fastfood environment and adapt quickly to its demands.
  • Take ownership of implementing and managing controls and procedures to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Lead and motivate your team, delegating tasks effectively to achieve our standards and goals.
  • Uphold high standards of quality in all aspects of operations, ensuring customer satisfaction is paramount.
  • Thrive in a multitask environment, handling pressure with efficiency.
  • Balance handson involvement with the ability to see and strategise for the bigger picture of our business.
  • Be proficient in computer skills, including Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and excell.
  • Make informed decisions promptly, exhibiting a practical approach to problemsolving.
  • Drive forward continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our working environment and operations.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, work effectively in a team, selfmotivated, enthusiastic, and thrive under pressure. Take pride in your performance and uphold high standards in service provision for both customers and internal stakeholders
