Progress Teachers are working in partnership with an outstanding school in Nottingham to support their recruitment of highly skilled and dedicated teaching and support professionals.

We are looking to appoint a
Cover Supervisorto support students academically and pastorally within a secondary school.

This role would be perfect for recent graduates or anyone with lots of classroom experience looking to take their career to the next level.

You will be supervising whole classes and small groups while they complete pre-planned work during periods of absenceof their regular class teachers.

Role responsibilities:

Maintaining a good level of behaviour and keeping students on task
Providing extra support to students who require it
Basic understanding of the core national curriculum
Motivating and inspiring students to excel
Supporting students both academically and pastorally

Requirements:

Have a strong basic education.
Recent and relevant educational support experience
Possess a teaching, training, or teaching assistant qualification (desirable)
Excellent communication skills
A full/clean DBS registered to the update service (or willing to undergo checks)
A right to work in the UK
At least 2 satisfactory professional references
