TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a highly successful chartered accountancy practice based in Sittingbourne. Our client is looking for an experienced bookkeeper with accountancy practice experience to join their successful team.

This will be a handson position, where you will have your own client allocation, and provide a mixed array of bookkeeping, VAT and cloud software services to a varied portfolio clients.

You will use Sage, Xero and QuickBooks, and training can be provided if necessary.

Our client is a really lovely independent firm of chartered accountants. They have a fantastic team, and a relaxed working environment.

They also have a very sizeable and interesting client portfolio, above what you'd expect from a local firm of accountants.

There will be an occasional requirement to travel to clients premises but the majority of the work will be office based.

Both full time and part-time applicants will be considered.

Client bookkeeping.
Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
Support clients on a variety of accounting software, including Sage, Xero, Quickbooks etc.
Assisting with or preparing monthly management accounts.

Requirements:

You will be AAT qualified, or qualified by experience and have experience of bookkeeping and preparing vat returns within an accountancy practice of any size, as a Bookkeeper.
You will have a minimum of 3 years experience and knowledge of cloud accounting software would be advantageous.
Both full time and parttime applicants will be considered.

Benefits £26,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
