Description

Our client is a global manufacturer of tension and compression testing machinery. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer for their Redhill site.
The role will incorporate amending mechanical designs.
Modify and check compliance of drawings to meet customer specs and configurations
Rectify and notify relevant parties of modifications and changes to drawings and/or parts
Fully maintain customer and update accordingly.
Monitor and check the quality of all drawings
Maintain drawing archives

Skills required include:
2D AutoCAD and CAD Inventor
Mechanical Engineering background/qualifications
Knowledge of materials and FEA experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to operate hand/machine tools
