Salary:From £32,000 +
As a Food Certification Coordinator, you'll be responsible for providing support to the Global Food Assurance Team by carrying out a range of activities including compliance, driving digital optimisation and other general operational duties.
Key Accountabilities;
- Complete the monitoring of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) information and compiling the required scheme owner (BRCGS, IFS, FSSC) reports to strict deadlines.
- Play an active role in remote internal audits of affiliates' offices delivering GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) schemes within SGS.
- Raise Mandatory Improvement Requests and ensure a timely resolution of the identified issues.
- Creating standards, food rules, templates, approval levels and monitor affiliate usage by timely reporting.
- To be responsible for the upkeep of the team's internal pages.
- Coordination of the Affiliate network, taking ownership for maintaining Affiliate Agreements, approvals, POA/network agreements.
- To provide and analyse reports (regularly and/or on ad hoc basis as required).
- Support in monitoring and processing of invoices for the schemes and other ad hoc activities.
Qualifications
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Teams, PPT, etc.)
- Strong organisation, coordinating and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills (including written) and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail
- Flexibility and ability to cope with changing priorities.
- Strong customerfocus and cando attitude
- Fluent in English
Desirable skills
- Experience in certification
- Food industry knowledge / experience
- Experience with SGS IT systems
- Strong initiative and resourcefulness, positive outlook and pragmatic in approach
