About the role


We currently have an excellent opportunity for an additional Quality Assurance Officer to join our Quality team based within our Head Office in Lytham, Lancashire due to expansion of the department.

Reporting to the Group Quality Manager, you will primarily be focusing on overseeing, reviewing, and processing validation and stability, along with the other duties listed below for the companies within the Group.

As an integral member of the team and providing an important function to the business, you will need to have a Bachelor of Science degree.

You must also be able to multi-task and manage priorities as appropriate.


Duties and Responsibilities

You will;

  • Oversee validation (equipment, cleaning, and process). This will include protocol generation, data review to assess compliance and summary report generation.
  • Log and assist with out of specification investigations and deviation requests to identify the root cause.
  • Assist the Group Quality Manager with the generation of product quality reviews for the licensed products and specials.
  • Assist with logging and investigating complaints (including returned stock) received for all companies within the Group, ensuring that they are processed accurately, investigated in a timely manner, and relevant staff are consulted to establish root cause.
  • Assist with logging requests for change and liaise with other departments to ensure that changes are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist with document control (issue, obsolete and archive) in accordance with written procedures.
  • Review batch records, equipment maintenance and calibration records to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Assist with supplier approval and ongoing maintenance.
  • Provide reports as required to the Group Quality Manager and other relevant personnel, for example memos regarding stability trends, KPI data etc.
