Our nursery is situated in a beautiful rural setting, 3 miles south of Dalkeith, with excellent indoor/outdoor facilities. Our dedicated staff team are supported by an equally dedicated management team.

As a team we work for the benefit of children, families and each other and we are looking for the right person to join our successful and friendly team.

They will provide stimulating learning experiences, which enable children to develop in a nurturing and caring environment.

A sound knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence, Pre
Birth to Three and Building the Ambition
Excellent communication skills
The ability to work as part of a team but also able to use their own initiative
A passion for outdoors and have a clear understanding of the many benefits of outdoor play.

Main responsibilities will be:

Planning, evaluating and identifying next steps in learning
Supporting and promoting positive, respectful relationships with the children and colleagues.

Applicants for this position must hold:

HNC in Childcare and Education, SVQ 3 or equivalent
