Following an acquisition that has led to a complex integration of our shared service function, the HR team is going through significant change so we're now seeking a Senior HR Operations Advisor to join us on an interim basis for 6 months.

This position will support the Senior HR leadership team on transitional HR Project activities which will see a significant focus on our HR foundations on key initiatives such as process and policy, job and salary architecture, benefits review and harmonisation to name just a few.

Our key objective throughout will be to improve our ways of working across the HR teams, as well as how we engage with business units at business leader, people manager and employee experience levels.


Reporting to the Senior HR Director, this will be a standalone role with no direct reports or day-to-day operational responsibility, but may provide support in this area if needed.

Based in the UK, this is a fully remote role.


Job Summary


This individual will provide significant support on a wide range of operational HR services including employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, HR processes and projects.


Process Planning Ownership :
Efficiency / Improvement/ Accuracy


  • Align with the HR Leadership Team to create an HR foundations plan for 202
  • Conduct a review of all processes and controls across the HR teams to identify and deliver ongoing efficiency improvements
  • Identify, understand and recommend ways of working with other internal teams
  • Define and design a robust plan which provides a phased approach to implementing improved ways of working

Project Management

  • Managing multiple projects across diverse HR teams
  • Project delivery lead to ensure task/activity deadlines are met in line with the project plan
  • Providing detailed support within job/salary architecture
  • Support day to day benefits activity and benefits harmonisation (non US)
  • Involvement in other projects and ad hoc tasks as required, particularly but not limited to, where interest is highlighted.

Internal Customer Focused

  • Provide recommendations for capabilities with regards to company policies, payroll, benefits and entitlements

Qualifications


We're looking for a strong HR Generalist with a background across all HR disciplines and experience of leading HR change projects.


  • Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources across core functional areas of administration and employee relations; recruitment, learning and reward exposure is also highly desirable.
  • Solid knowledge of HR practices, principles and applicable laws and regulations in the UK with the desire to expand knowledge globally.
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with an ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders at all levels
  • A strong attention to detail and understanding of the importance of accuracy
  • Ability to work to deadlines and deliver on commitments, whilst being flexible and adaptable
  • Demonstrable experience of process improvement across multiple HR teams
  • A genuine team player, appreciating the importance of team goals
  • Proven ability to multitask
  • General understanding of 'people' technology / systems / platform and its uses


A CIPD qualification at level 3 or above, together with knowledge and use of an HRIS, ADP and Oracle is highly desirable.
