Description

The Risk Assurance Manager will provide oversight and challenge of the 1LoD assessment and management of operational risks and controls through the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process as well as delivering deep dive reviews to drive improvementsacross the internal control environment.

Our Enterprise Risk team are currently working from home with an effort to come into our Leeds Head Office once a Month.


About the Role

  • Plan and deliver assurance reviews across a variety of risk areas.
  • Provide proactive guidance and support to the management and senior management within the division you primarily support.
  • Influence colleagues across the organisation to embed robust, costeffective controls and strengthen the overall control environment.
  • Working collaboratively with your colleagues in the Enterprise Risk team and share best practice.

About You

  • Ability to work autonomously and make appropriate assessments of risk and control frameworks, demonstrating excellent business judgement.
  • Subject matter expertise in Operational Risk and experience of carrying out assurance reviews within financial services or a regulated environment.
  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
  • Evidence of building and maintaining skills and expertise through professional development. A relevant professional Risk or Audit qualification is preferred.
