As an
Night Supervisor - Basil Street you will be working within our 15 Basil Street Team, you will find yourself surrounded by a supportive and fun team all collaborating and working towards tailor made guest experiences.

You will report directly to the Operations Manager.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Be present in the lobby when required, greeting and assisting guests in a polite and friendly manner in line with our LQA & AA Standards
  • Perform all checkin and checkout tasks.
  • Ensure that all adhoc information provided to the guest is correct and reliable.
  • Be familiar and up to date with the Apartments offers and services.
  • Always maintain confidentiality of guests.
  • Anticipate guest needs, providing personalised service to our guests by using guest history where possible.
  • Always maintain a positive approach, especially when handling any issues or guest complaints, providing solution promptly and effectively.
  • Provide, all standard porter services for the guests in line with SOPs including but not limited to:
  • Delivering and storing guest luggage.
  • Delivering guests' requests.
  • Dealing with special requests, such as taxi bookings or wakeup calls.
  • Rooming guests as per LQA & AA Standards and actively upsell apartments offerings.
  • Read the Handover and Shift logs at the commencement of each shift and complete entries as appropriate according to the operational procedure.
  • Oversee courier, postal and other deliveries for all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Assisting guest with any special requirements throughout their stay.
  • Maintain all equipment to an excellent standard, assisting in keeping apartments always clean and tidy.
  • Maintain exceptional standard for front of house presentation
  • Periodically deep clean scheduled areas.
  • Complete any health and safety monthly checks and assist in accurate regular apartments Health and Safety inspections.
  • Ensure the highest standards of security are stringently adhered to regarding guests' property, colleagues' property, and apartments property.
  • Comply with and to ensure that all Safe Systems of Works (SSOW) are always adhered to and report any maintenance issues accordingly.
  • Complete any health and safety monthly checks and assist in accurate regular apartments Health and Safety inspections.
Follow manual handling guidelines.

  • Attend all required trainings and take an active role in developing the department and yourself.
  • Actively seek constructive feedback for personal development and selfimprovement.
  • Constantly review working processes and offer relevant suggestions to the management in a timely manner to improve Apartments services.
  • Attend meetings, job chats and forums which will benefit you, our guests, and the business
  • Be available for duty as per the Rota business requirements, as well as being flexible to short notice shift changes.


15 Basil Street is based in Knightsbridge, London SW3 1AX, and the closest tube station is Knightsbridge, on the Piccadilly Line.
