What you'll be doing


The HR Administrator will provide support by carrying out a range of HR administrative support duties across the employee lifecycle as well as support in a range of wider office and executive assistant duties.


  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference and right to work checks
  • Assist with the onboarding process including ordering IT equipment, IT account creation, building security access requests, administering onboarding paperwork and starter packs, and setting up new employees on the HR system
  • Maintain employee records in the HR system, ensuring all information is uptodate, accurate, and complete
  • Update records for parental, sick, and compassionate leave within the team
  • Manage holiday requests and holiday calendars, producing weekly leave reports
  • Administer the employee benefits programs, including enrolment, changes and termination of benefits
  • Training administration for new starts and annual health and safety refreshers
  • Scheduling contractors in line with health and safety regulations, e.g. fire extinguisher servicing and PAT testing
  • Assist in the coordination of company events
  • General office support, e.g., ordering office stationery, supplies and IT equipment, managing parking passes
  • Assist with projects as directed by the Senior HR Business Partner

What you need

  • 2+ years' experience in an administrative support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, HR Information Systems, and other software programs
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational skills and an excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of dealing with confidential information in a discreet and professional manner

  • Salary: £23,000 £25,000 FTE

This is a part-time position hours per week), which may be worked flexibly Monday - Friday
