We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Risk Officer to provide support, delivering all aspects of risk management (RAID) relating to corporate risk, working alongside the Portfolio Risk Officer to ensure consistency across the organisation's risk management.

About the Role
The Governance team's core purpose is to provide support, guidance and assurance across the organisation.
The Corporate Risk Officer post is a vital role in supporting the delivery of risk management across the organisation and ensuring that robust systems and processes are in place and managed effectively, to ensure that risk assurance from projects/programmes-to-board is in place.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide Business Partner support to the various management teams via RAID meetings.
- Provide expert support and advice.
- Minimise risk through working with functions and teams.
- Provide specialist knowledge and expertise to the Governance team.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Risk Officer in the development and implementation of risk management strategies.
- Ensure that all information within RAID Logs are accurate and up to date.
- Advise and report formally on risks and issues.
- Take responsibility for updating reports in line with reporting schedules.
- Plan, design and produce scheduled and ad hoc reports
- Promote good risk management.
- Ensuring that RAID logs are fit for purpose, maintained, up to date.
- Identifying trends and communicating risk to our stakeholders.
- Producing reports and communicating risks to the organisation.
About You
As Corporate Risk Officer, you will have experience in and knowledge of the principles of risk and issue management.
With working knowledge of RAID Registers and supporting risk and dependency mapping workshops, you will be the familiar in the effective use of tools to optimise reporting and RAID Management.
You will also have experience of:
- Drafting a wide range of risk related reports with an ability to summarise a complex set of facts, clearly, accurately, and succinctly to a wide audience.
- Providing SME (Subject Matter Experts) support in risk and issue management.
