Online Children's Counsellor - Leeds, United Kingdom - Mable Therapy
Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work flexibly from home, using Mable Therapy's creative therapy platform to provide counselling to children and young people aged 6-21.
The interactive video software features games, resources and activities which enable a range of therapeutic approaches to be used to support the child.
This is an associate role which works on a referral basis, meaning the counsellor has full control over their availability and working patterns.

- Highly organised and committed to working ethically to meet the needs of clients.
- Enthusiasm for new technology/willingness to learn new programmes.
Requirements:
- Deliver online counselling to children and young people from their home, using your own PC or laptop (a good wifi connection is essential).
- Carry out online assessments with new clients.
- Liaise with parents and schools when required.
- Maintain timely clinical records on the Mable Therapy online platform.
- Manage own diary and caseload effectively.
- Adhere to Mable Therapy safeguarding and confidentiality policies.
- Provide counselling in adherence with BACP/NCS ethical framework.
- Availability afterschool/weekends (successful recruits can also add daytime availability for our schools' service)
- Fully qualified counsellor.
- BACP member or NCS accredited member.
- Experience in counselling children and young people postqualification.
- Attend clinical supervision for at least 1.5 hours per month, with own supervisor, selffunded.
