We are looking for a talented and experienced Agile Coach to join our award-winning innovative client to join their Operational Excellence team and will support in our clients journey to increased
business agility.


The Agile Coach role can be based near London or Manchester and they work to a Hybrid model with 1 day a week in the office and 4 days at home (negotiable).


Job Responsibilities of the Agile Coach:

  • Support the business in developing the companies Way of Working, with a people focused approach to empowerment, servant leadership and coaching
  • Coaching others in the principles, systems and tools within the companies Way of Working to ensure they reflect the best known and emerging approaches to solve both the here and now and emerging customer and company problems, drawing on knowledge of best practice across lean, six sigma, systems thinking, agile, kanban, scrum, value flow quality et al.
  • Coach on value ennoblement using a range of tools and techniques to ensure that clear measurable outcomes aligned to overall purpose are defined and broken down into small increments of value for delivery
  • Build and maintain strong, high level collaborative senior relationships, influencing business leaders to progressively adopt a culture of continuous improvement / lean agile mindset
  • Providing thought leadership across the lean agile community with the aim to successfully build businesswide lean agile capabilities, with a strong focus on customer outcomes
  • Build effective working relationships and influence across all levels of the business, fostering an open and collaborative culture

Experience required of the Agile Coach:

  • 5 year's experience leading lean agile programme(s) at a leadership level
  • Experience of establishing a culture of embracing a lean agile mindset and developing internal capability through upskilling existing people
  • Ability to tailor lean agile approach and solution delivery depending on business and customer needs, ensuring suitable, framework agnostic ways of working prevail
  • Strong stakeholder management experience including at Executive level, to ensure differing points of view are brought together to move them forward
  • Experience in leading people through cultural change

Knowledge needed of the Agile Coach:

  • Solid understanding of Lean agile bodies of knowledge including supporting, tools, systems & principles
  • Strong understanding of the Company objectives and operations
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements specific to the Company and the functions under control
