Position:
Forklift Operator

Due to the Location you must have your own transport.


The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating a forklift to move product from one location to another, and will also be responsible for loading and unloading product from the production line.

The position requires a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. The position requires physical strength, as well as the ability to lift, push, pull and maneuver heavy objects.


Essential Duties:


  • Operate a forklift to move product from one location to another.
  • Load and unload product from production line.
  • Move pallets of product around the warehouse and loading dock.
  • Ensure that all inventory is accounted for in inventory management system.
  • Keep production line clean and organized at all times.
  • Maintain equipment in good condition.
  • Keep warehouse organized and clean at all times.
  • Complete inventory reports on a regular basis.
  • Complete daily end of day close out.
  • Complete inventory cycle counts on a regular basis to ensure that inventory is accounted for in inventory management system.
  • Complete daily end of day close out with information on inventory moved, loaded unloaded, days open and closed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements:


High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of high school diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of military service.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Must be able to safely use a forklift with moderate to heavy lifting requirements of product from 20-50 lbs., daily movement of product throughout the day.

Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment. Must be able to work overtime as needed based on business needs and operations demands.


Salary:
£12.75-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
