Job Title:
System Engineer

Location:
The role is based in Basildon but adopt a flexible approach to working and may be able to accommodate work-from-home or flexible hours (within our operational requirements)

Rate:
£34.89 ph Umbrella Co (inside IR35) - POTENTIALLY NEGOTIABLE

Employment Type:
Contract (initally 6 months - likely on-going )

Hours:
Standard 37.5 Hours Per Week

Act as the single point of contact between feature owners and customers for all connected features.

Provide support to customers for solution concepts design and documentation, as well as delivery of the implementation, failure analysis and sign-off of distributedand connected features end-to-end.


Ensure customer needs are met through close collaboration with vehicle and cloud software teams, external partners as well as internal customers (marketing, design, finance and legal department).

Identify project dependencies or risks (cost, quality, time),communicate to management and lead solutions to address them.


Skills Required:


  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • You will bring a positive, cando attitude.
  • German language skills are advantageous.

Experience Required:


  • Extensive experience of feature ownership or project management in the vehicle software, vehicle electronics, cloud or infotainment domain, ideally experienced with agile methods/tools (SCRUM, KANBAN, Design Thinking).

Experience Preferred:


  • Expertise in vehicle connectivity, cloud systems and integration of complex distributed functionalities, with a strong endtoend focus.
  • An affinity to apps and digital multimedia products, particularly in an automotive environment.
