Description

Overview:

Making deliveries to clients and end users, to be the face of Workstories and represent the business. Adhering to all H&S regulations and safe working practices. Notice and seek improvements for constant progression within the workplace.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Undertake all daily role specific routines ensuring all operational processes are followed and adhered to.
  • Preloading orders for delivery, transport and unload/deliver goods to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Paperwork to returned complete and full debrief with Planning Team
  • Perform vehicle inspection such as checking fluid levels and tyre pressure
  • Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip
  • Maintain the vehicle to be clean and safe
  • Maintain driving log and complete daily paperwork
  • Advise Planning Team of issues with failed or potential failed deliveries
  • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, ensuring the customer is satisfied
  • Report any accidents or injuries to Line Manager immediately
  • Notify Line Manager about any major repairs and maintenances
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and informing customer service team of any complaints
  • Adhering to assigned routes and follow time schedules
  • Operating equipment such as tail lifts
  • Attend yearly eyesight tests
  • Ensure breaks are taken to comply with the law
  • Full adherence to health and safety policy and procedures.
  • Vehicle is kept clean and presentable
  • Due to the changing nature of our business, your role profile will be continually updated to reflect those activities the business requires to be carried out. You will also from time to time be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities, and as directed by your immediate Leader._

Skills / Knowledge:


  • Accurate attention to detail
  • Effective problem solving
  • Experience with hand tools preferred (training will be given)
  • Hold a Full UK Driving License
  • Good Driving Standards

Salary:
From £40,000.00 per year
