The East Quay is a beach front venue in Whitstable, the building itself is from the early 1800's and a grade-two listed building.

The venue retains its coastal heritage past, reflecting the relaxed atmosphere in our friendly and personal approach to weddings and events.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and focused individual, who can work independently and also as part of a team, to join us at East Quay Venue as our Evening Supervisor.

As an Evening Supervisor, you will be someone with a passion for customer service, eye for detail and the drive to ensure the smooth running of each and every wedding and event within the venue.

Previous experience of working on a busy bar
Previous experience of leading a small team
A Personal alcohol license

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Evening Supervisor Duties evenings a week, dependent on number of events)

Executing the plans for the client during the evening, once the Event Manager has finished their shift, ensuring the client's requirements are met.
Assisting the Event Manager when present with the smooth running of the Event.
Taking and clearing food.
Leading a small team of staff on shift.
Liaising with Suppliers (Band/DJ/Photographer)
Setting up the venue for the next event.
Cashing up at the end of the event.
Ensuring the venue is closed down and locked securely.

Please note, due to the nature of this work, weekend and evening work will be required.

Full training will be provided but previous experience is advantageous.

Pay is dependent on experience and is negotiable.

**Additional hours available in other parts of the company for a full-time position.
