Trinity Academy Leeds is a brand-new secondary school situated in the east of the city.

TAL is a school that sets the highest of standards for student behaviour and achievement in addition to championing its staff and supporting them to develop and grow.

We are now in our third year and have already proved to be a popular choice for local families.

Joining TAL is joining a professional community of passionate and collaborative individuals who share a strong vision to support disadvantaged students and all young people to thrive.

We are now seeking a Cover Supervisor to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff to enhance the development and education of students.

This role would suit a highly motivated, positive, and flexible individual who is considering a teaching career in the future.

You may already be employed as a Cover Supervisor or be a qualified teacher looking for further experience in schools or you may be seeking a new challenge with a willingness to learn new skills.

We would provide you with full training and the opportunity to take relevant CPD courses. As a growing school, there are valuable opportunities for development and promotion in the future. We strongly advise you to come for a tour of our school and to meet the team

  • A first class behaviour for learning system
  • Excellent teaching resources
  • Career progression and crosstrust working
  • An excellent CPD package for all staff
  • A range of staff benefits including access to the West Yorkshire Pension fund, health scheme and cycle to work scheme

What are we looking for?

  • 5 or more GCSE's (or equivalent) at C or better, including English and Maths
- experience of teaching or relevant learning environments, covering groups or whole classes (students 11-16)
- experience of assessing student progress and contributing to assessment processes

You must be fully committed to optimising the opportunities that are available to children and young people, secure in the knowledge that you will be joining an ambitious forward-thinking Academy Trust that sets the standards for our family of schools and academies.
