This is a great opportunity to join an established pharmaceutical company as an NHS Business Development Manager, this role works across Primary and Secondary care
The role of the NHS Business Development Manager is to deliver against prescription sales and market share objectives for the clients NHS portfolio, in an increasingly competitive market and an ever-changing NHS environment.
The NHS Business Development Manager will be an experienced practitioner of consultative promotional selling, building excellent customer relationships that ensure the long-term health of the clients NHS brands.
The NHS Business Development Managers will need a thorough understanding of the portfolio of products, the competitors & the customers, including a thorough understanding of the local NHS environment.
You will build relationships with Dietitians, Paediatricians, ENT consultants, some GPs, and Heads of Medicines Managers where appropriate across the whole territories healthcare economy.
Delivering information about the NHS portfolio and any other NHS products deemed necessary within the constraints of the ABPI code of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Development, implementation and management of the territory business plan in line with UK strategy including deliver of sales and market share targets.
Exhibit excellence in identifying, meeting and exceeding customer expectations by understanding the business environment including value and economic drivers and partnering with customers to make mutually beneficial decisions which deliver business performance.
Proactively seek opportunities and threats relating to the clients NHS portfolio and propose ways to maximise growth in the region to the NHS Business Manager.
Gain understanding of both national NHS and local decision-making processes to ensure NHS Brand strategy is optimised in the region.
Responsible for building relationships Dietitians, Paediatricians, ENT consultants, some GPs, and Heads of Medicines Managers and any other customer group as appropriate to achieve against the set targets.
Curious about developing a wider knowledge to enhance customer engagement.
To ensure all activities are ABPI compliant
Responsible for the recording of these contacts on the CRM system and the global expense system adhering to all company standard operating procedures.
Qualifications:
Ideally a science graduate and / or a RCN qualification equivalent ABPI qualification Full UK drivers licence
