Job Overview:

Join our small friendly team as a Warehouse Operative where you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with the potential opportunity to turn this into a full time role.

Major Responsibilities & Tasks

To ensure warehouse activities are performed in a timely manner to meet the business objectives.

• Assembly of LPG products to minimum stock quantities
• Packing products into display packs
• Writing and maintaining correct SOP's (Sales Operation Procedures)
• Monitoring and weekly reporting on assembled products and stock levels
• Preparation for incoming goods

IE:
Clearing shelves, organising space

• Unloading and checking GRN's
• Double checking to ensure correct quantities dispatched
• Advising the office of any health and safety issues
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organised warehouse space.
• Holiday / Absence cover for other operatives when required. Assisting in the cover of picking and packing orders, answering the telephone, dealing with customers face to

- face at reception and processing cash or credit card payments


Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a warehouse setting
• Good PC Literacy
• Manual dexterity for assembly small parts and components
• Good maths skills
• The ability to follow instructions
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Desirable Skills:

• An understanding of sales processes and procedures
• LPG product knowledge
• Forklift Licence

The jobholder must be a team player with a flexible approach to the job and have a commitment to providing a quality service to Intergas UK's external customers.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Pay:
£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
