Senior Production Planner - Havant - £35,000 - £40,000
Have you got a solid background within supply chain operations?

Would you like to work for a global company which are going through an exciting growth phase?

This is a superb opportunity for a Senior Production Planner to join this expanding manufacturing company as they continue their upward trajectory and keep expanding.

They are looking for someone with a strong supply chain background, adept with MRP software who can help with improve their manufacturing planning processes.

This is a new position for the company and will be joining an established team of 12 production planners.

The Job roles and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Production Planner, you will have a varied but interesting role primarily helping to improve the processes around planning and helping incorporate new processes within the MRP system.

You will also do the following:

To maintain and review capacity data to ensure correct levels of manpower.
To ensure the planning system is controlled to ensure On time in Full delivery of all orders. This includes the review of current planning practices.
To be aware of operational constraints required to meet our Order book. Communicating issues and opportunities.
To supply to our customers and the warehouse with a On time and in full flow of materials and services.

To plan efficiently and wisely, achieving the best value for the company.
To manage inventory so as to give the best possible service.

The Job Requirements:

To be suitable for the role of Senior Production Planner you will ideally have the following experience and skillset:

Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365, D365 MRP system would be very advantageous
A background within subcontract manufacturing would be ideal
Ideally you have experience in a supervisory or senior role or looking for the next step in your career
