Your New Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Administrator to join our Trafford Council account in Trafford, Great Manchester.
The salary for this position is starting at £21,000 up to £23,000 depending on the experience, and qualifications.
Our Trafford account which was awarded to us in 2015 to support Trafford Council with Highway Maintenance and Waste Collections.
This account is supported by Amey by delivering environmental and infrastructure services such as commercial and domestic waste collections, street cleaning, grounds maintenance, highways services, bridges, road safety, street lighting and furniture, drainage, and property services.
The partnership between Amey and Trafford Council will help to maintain and improve nearly 800 km of roads, 17,000 km footways, 150 structures, 30,000 street columns and illuminated signs and 37 parks, in addition to collecting waste from 97,000 households for the next 7 years.
As Administrator for sites such as cemeteries, grounds, parks, playground infrastructure, street scene, you will maintenance and organisation of company records, being the main point of contact for personnel within the company and external parties, fielding enquiries, managing the communications of the organisation, bookkeeping, record-keeping.
The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week.

You will be responsible for:
- General office administration duties, organising executive itineraries and organisation of company records
- Assist with the delivery of services to the client
- Update, create and maintain spreadsheets/other systems to produce and collate reports, monitor HAVs hourly usage and flag any queries
- Raise purchase orders and arrange payment of invoices
- Monitor speeding reports and licensing of operatives
- Observe and set up trigger points for each operative on waste regarding holidays and sickness
- Use whitespace to assist with requests
- Undertake other essential business support duties as part of a team
- Communicate and liaise with other employees of Amey, subcontractors, the emergency services, the police, the general public, clients and customers
- Ensure the satisfactory completion of work in accordance with instructions and compliant with Amey's Health and Safety At Work requirements, as well as Health and Safety legislation

We want to hear from you if you have:
- Education to GCSE level or equivalent
- Administrative skills with knowledge of SAP systems, Microsoft 365 Products and general computer literacy

- Flexible and adaptable with proactive, polite and helpful attitude
- Excellent organisation and problemsolving skills
- Effective team worker with good communication skills
