Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Assistant to join our dynamic Project Management team.
The Project Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Coordinator in organising and coordinating various aspects of projects, including arranging access to buildings, organising contractors, and managing materials.
This is a temporary position with the potential for part-time hours that could transition to full-time based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Project Organisation:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to create and update project documentation, including project trackers, reports, and project plans.
- Monitor project timelines and milestones, identifying potential delays and proposing solutions.

Access Coordination:
- Arrange and coordinate access to buildings and project sites for team members, contractors, and other engineers.
- Liaise with relevant parties to ensure smooth access and adherence to project timelines.
3.
Contractor and Material Management:
- Assist in identifying and securing contractors for various project tasks.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of contractor agreements, invoices, and material orders.
4.
Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication between project team members, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for inquiries related to project logistics and organisation.
5.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the Project Coordinator, including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining project files.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in project coordination/administration or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
Working Conditions:
- This is initially a temporary fulltime position with options to discuss part time working and the potential to transition to fulltime based on performance and business needs.
- Some flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate project timelines.

£25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
