RWG is the leading global provider of approved maintenance, repair and overhaul services for Siemens-Energy industrial aero-derivative gas generators and power turbines.

We are authorised to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services for Rolls-Royce marine gas turbines used for marine propulsion.

Aberdeen and will report to the Department Supervisor.

The primary function will be preparation, operation and assistance of the repair processes for the repair and overhaul of gas generator components.

Organise own workload to assist smooth workflow for painters and highlight HSE matters and factors that hinder performance.
Preventative Maintenance and operation of blast equipment and associated plant, ovens, degreaser, spray booths, super polishing and chemical plant.
Maintain good house keeping in work areas and perform other related or comparable duties as assigned (5's).
The Department recognise a number of shift patterns, including nightshift, and there will be opportunities to work overtime.

Experience:

Experience in a similar role or workshop/practical work experience would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
Selfstarter with the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
Knowledge of QHS&E procedures & COSHH assessments
Grit blasting and masking experience would be beneficial, but training will be provided
