Counted Recruitment are currently recruiting a
Credit Control for a Large Listed business based in
Birmingham. This role will see you play a crucial role in a fantastic finance team

This role is hybrid, with just 1 day a week in the office

Main duties of this
Credit Control role include:

Ensure that a strong commercial relationship between assigned company customers so that it ensure payments to teams every time.
Ensure that large query volumes are dealt with accordingly so that payments are secured and not delayed
Ensure customer invoices and credit notes are raised manually onto customer accounts
Limit risk for business when offering credit by performing and reviewing credit checks
Ensure that all customer payments are allocated daily so that accounts are up to date
Deal with any queries that come up by liaising with internal business streams
Ensure that all relevant departments are informed on there debtors ledgers
Maintaining efficient payments by completing all customer documentation
Assist with team leaders with frequent improvement activities

Location / Office / Hours
The business is a large listed business based in Birmingham. The business is a large company, operating nationally who have hybrid office hours and fantastic future potential. You will need to drive to get there, but there is free parking on site.

Culture, Ownership and Industry
The business is a fast paced listed business, turning over billions and with a finance team of circa 100. The business has been constantly growing over the last few years and are now looking to add a new accountant who will grow with them
