We are currently looking for a pensions administrator to work within the payroll team in the production of high quality, timely and accurate pension information for Trust employees and the NHS Pensions Agency.

You will be required to provide information and guidance to Trust staff on all pension matters.

To provide pension estimates, process pension refunds, maintain accurate and up to date records on pensions online and the payroll system, clearing errors and performing some data cleansing.

You will also work alongside your payroll team colleagues to ensure that a full end-to-end pension process is completed for all Trust employees who are pension scheme members.


It is essential that you have good computer skills with previous experience of using the NHS Pensions Online and Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Oracle system.

You should have a background in NHS Pensions, including the estimate requests, membership and regulatory enquiries and all associated processing in respect of the NHS Pension Scheme.

A working knowledge of NHS Terms and Conditions of employment would also be advantageous.


You will need to possess a strong customer service ethic and the ability to deal confidently and professionally with queries from Trust employees regarding their pension.


The Pensions team are based at Heatherwood Hospital, Ascot but there is the opportunity for remote working and some days can be worked at home.


Working within the Payroll/Pensions team you will support the pension officer to ensure the efficient operation of the Trusts pension service.


You will be required to provide information on all Pension matters to Trust staff, to manage pension enrolments, updates Pensions online and the NEST system in line with scheme regulations and procedures.
