We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of
Care Supervisor to join our ever growing team here at
West Park Care based in the
Harrogate, North Yorkshire area.
The Care Supervisor will be based out in the field as well as the Office; this role is a hybrid role.
A large part of the role will revolve around field work and the role will include evening and weekend work.
West Park Care runs a 7 day/365 days a year and for this reason both our clients and our team members require the support of a Senior Team Member to support the running of the service from both a client and staff perspective.
We cover Harrogate, Knaresborough, Wetherby/North Leeds, Otley & Ilkley area.
The key aspects of the Care Supervisor role are as follows:
The Care Supervisor will ensure that all regulatory and contractual standards are met and exceeded.
The Care Supervisor will provide leadership and management to an assigned team of care-experts.
They will ensure all teams have the skills and competences required and will provide a focus on continuous professional development within their team.
They will be responsible for ensuring all current clients are properly assessed and that high quality, person-centred care is planned for and provided.
Key duties include:
- Managing your own allocated clients and staff members but supporting your Supervisor colleagues with other Clients and Staff members as needed.
- Work with the BDM on initial assessments, risk assessments and care plans
- Liaising with other professional.
- Supervising Senior Carer and Carers ongoing support, providing training, on the job training, competency and spot checks, supervision, and appraisals.
- Oncall for short period of time out of WPC working hours.

The role involves a working pattern of a week of early shifts and a week of late shifts, with a weekend on and weekend off and two days off in the week together on weekend on.
