Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's | Permanent | Full time | Up to £26,500.00 per annum
Our Oncology Unit team in our Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital currently have an opportunity for a an Oncology Administrator.
As with all Administrator roles, our main focus is our customers or in our case our patients and their families.

As our Oncology Unit Administrator you will:
Answer all phone calls that come into the unit
Admit all patients onto our in-house computer system and gain all relevant patient information.
Take payment where required.
Make follow up patient bookings.
Take messages and pass on to the appropriate person.
Administrative duties to include printing off patient paperwork, booking patient appointments and filing documentation into patients notes.
Liaising between patients, secretaries, consultants and other departments.
To succeed as our Oncology Unit Administrator, you will need:
Great communication skills.
The ability to explain sensitive or complicated information in a clear, sympathetic and easily understood way.
You need to be dynamic and energizing
Ideally, you will have experience of working within Healthcare administration or a relevant reception environment.
Good IT and keyboard skills.
Willingness to learn

orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services.
The new hospital consists of:
48 inpatient and day case bedrooms
28 consultation rooms
Three digital operating theatres
Cardiac catheterisation lab
Specialist intensive care beds
Oncology day unit
Endoscopy and minor ops theatre
Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray
