We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Change Agent to deliver change management projects as part of the Apollo Readiness Team.

We are seeking an individual with experience of delivering change and knowledge of clinical and operational processes in healthcare, who is keen to develop their skills and experience in digital transformation.

The South East London Pathology Programme is going through a rapid period of sustained investment, improvement and transformation.


We are looking for a Change Agents to join a growing team to deliver change programmes focused on digital pathology ranging from GP order communications systems, Blood Transfusion LIMS consolidation, digital pathology, point of care testing system harmonisation and many more exciting projects.

You will bring your experience of delivering improvement to guide clinical and operational teams. Your ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholder relationships will be vital. Excellent verbal and written communication skills will be required.


Your work will be focused within a group of specialties across the three organisations and you will also be involved in the delivery of new cross-cutting workflows.

We will support you to develop further change management and digital transformation skills.


Importantly, we are looking for people whose genuine enthusiasm for this programme will be passed onto the rest of the staff base.

This will also require the post holder to be resilient and adaptable in order to deliver the programme of work successfully.

Project/Change Management

  • Manage the production of change project plans that deliver agreed milestones and objectives.
  • Provide change and project management expertise to the individuals in the project team and ensure that the leads have clear responsibilities, priorities, timescales and track delivery.
  • Design, facilitate and effectively lead change management meetings with stakeholders; ensuring breadth in participation and a focus on action planning.
  • Develop and maintain effective change project reporting to project board.
  • Proactively mitigate risk across all project activity and assure that programme / project leads and stakeholders are aware.
  • Use appropriate project/change management practices and facilitate meetings of clinicians, managers, patients and other partners to agree priorities and action plans.
Stakeholder management

  • Manage engagement plans for change project to proactively ensure that positive and effective relations are developed and maintained between members of the team, all clients and key internal and external stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Manage strategies to achieve acceptance, consensus and alignment of views, both formally and informally from senior managers and clinicians.
  • Use negotiation, persuasion and motivational skills to gain support for the programme across the breadth of stakeholders, including commissioners, patients and providers.
  • Ensure that delivery plans are developed and regularly updated for all projects. Ensure that effective communication continues throughout the life of the project.
General

  • Autonomy for specific areas / directorates, to assess the impact of change and make decisions, balancing risks and priorities.
  • Provide advice to the GM/DMT.
  • Proactive in identifying and addressing issues which are significant within and across directorates.
