Duties:


  • Take full financial and P&L responsibility for the business
  • Oversee the company's financial performance & investments
  • Work with external agencies, financial institutions, and government departments to ensure statutory compliance, full corporate governance, and financial security
  • Overview and support the annual budgeting criteria and preparation
  • Complete the end of year financial accounts audit review and signoff meeting
  • Take overall responsibility and control of Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Administration, Finance, HR, and Health & Safety
  • Ensuring the business delivers its strategic objectives
  • Maintaining profitable growth
  • Creating and delivering the businesses ongoing 135 strategic business plans
  • Communication of the business plan throughout the business
  • Preparation of the monthly board meeting and the board pack
  • Attending and participating in the monthly board meeting
  • Responsible for the performance, development & coaching of your direct reports
  • Setting appropriate goals/objectives for your team
  • Lead preparation and implementation of comprehensive business plans
  • Identify process improvements and new processes for manufacture
  • Develop, maintain and report a weekly business management information pack
  • To oversee and take full ownership of the HR and Health & Safety functions

Skills & Experience:


  • ACCA or CIMA or equivalent financial qualification
  • Proven experience at Director or Chief Operating Officer Level
  • Sound previous P&L responsibility
  • Sound commercial awareness and negotiating ability
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Strong project management skills
  • Indepth knowledge of pricing, costing and operational delivery
  • Experience in managing a diverse and busy team environment
