FOOTWEAR BUYER - LADIES ONLINE FASHION/FOOTWEAR BRAND- £40K

Our client, a successful online ladies Footwear Brand selling globally are looking to recruit an experienced FOOTWEAR BUYER to work alongside the Buying Director.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual who has a passion for the fashion footwear industry.

The successful applicant will possess at least 3 years' experience working within a similar role within the footwear high street retail/ online or wholesale industry, have knowledge of
putting ranges together and travelling to the Far East and China on buying trips have excellent product knowledge.

DUTIES:

To be a team player and develop Product collections with the Buyer and designer which are current in line with the Brand and Customer focused.

To develop customer research, keeping a keen eye on the market, competition, current and fashion trends.

To constantly review competition to ensure product is in line with the market across all key areas: fashion trend, price, quality and availability.

To continually investigate and propose new and reactive product opportunities.
Working closely with Buyer and Designer to ensure Product objectives are delivered.
To create sales reports & analysis to monitor product sales.

You will analyse these reports to monitor sales performance, sell throughs, and propose ways to improve sales performance through product.

Showing initiative on sales and putting forward recommendations to Buyer and Designer
Influence the range by using this sales analysis, historical, instinct and commercial research.
Support the Buyer in the management of the order and delivery process and communicating any changes and information promptly.
To be a key member of the team in selecting new styles for order during season and creating orders.
To create weekly repeat orders through stock monitoring
To monitor and make sure Range Plans are up to date.
You will actively review and manage strong relationships and liaise with suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
Manage weekly fit sessions and contribute to improving products fits with designer.
Managing the footwear approval process with Designer and Buyer.
Creating catwalk round ups and forthcoming trends/ colour palettes.
To Competently Use Magento and PeopleVox WMS for both footwear & clothing.

Salary:
Up to £40,000.00 per year
