Payroll Team Leader - Manchester City Centre

About Our Client:

An exciting opportunity has arisen with an award-winning company based in Manchester city centre due to continued growth and company expansion.

The key responsibilities of a Payroll Team Leader will include:

Previous experience managing a Payroll team or previous experience in a Payroll Team Leader/ Payroll Manager background
Input and process HR and payroll data in a timely and accurate manner to ensure continual SLA adherence
Resolve and provide advice and guidance on payroll queries from employees, HMRC and other 3rd parties
Deal with all customer telephone enquiries in line with SLA
Ensure confidentiality of customer data is maintained at all times
Provide scheduled payroll reports
Customer advisor on payroll legislation
UAT of any system changes
To undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the level of the post to ensure the smooth running of the company
To support new customers when required, the onboarding of new customers and UAT of new customer solutions
To highlight continuous improvements to the HR and Payroll processes to drive continual service improvement

The Successful Applicant:

The successful Payroll Team Leader will need to have the following:

Previous experience managing a payroll team or previous experience in a payroll team leader/ payroll manager background
CIPP qualified
Experience running end to end payroll manually
Ability to recalculate payslips manually
Strong organisational and timemanagement skills
Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues, clients and management to resolve queries
A keen understanding of financial regulations and legislation
