Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outgoing and dynamic Advance Clinical Practitioner to work as part of the Practitioner ePortfolio (PeP) team which is based within the Medical Education Centre and as part of the Medical Education Team.

Practitioners ePortfolio (PeP) is an electronic eportfolio based on the current NHS Education for Scotland (NES) Foundation ePortfolio. It is administered by The Medical Education Department at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust and hosted by NES. The eportfolio is designed for ACPs, PAs and junior non training grade doctors.

Practitioners ePortfolio (PeP) is designed to help healthcare professionals draw together the information that will help them on the path to becoming a good practitioner.

The ePortfolio will provide a record of progress, the principal purpose is to encourage the development of good practice - and to this end it should be thought of as a Learning Portfolio.

It provides a structure that will help to prepare for meetings with supervisors and to develop the habits of reflective learning.

Working can be fully office based at Rotherham Hospital or a hybrid of office and home working.

The post is for 7.5 hours a week to work closely with the PeP team to provide their expert professional opinion in the development of the PeP system.

The role is open to all advanced practitioners, no matter their area of practice.
